A dynamic South African forward turned international coach, leading Scotland's national team with the same competitive fire she displayed on the pitch.
Jen Wilson became Head Coach of Scotland's women's national field hockey team in 2018, crossing from the southern to the northern hemisphere. The South African-born forward used her pace and scoring instinct to become a cornerstone of the national team in the 2000s. She competed in multiple international tournaments. After retiring, she channeled her understanding of attacking principles into coaching. Her analytical mind and leadership qualities earned her the role. Wilson represents a new breed of international coach with high-level playing experience and a modern approach to team development.
