A versatile and intelligent defender who chose to represent his father's homeland, becoming a defensive pillar for Cameroon on the international stage.
Jean-Charles Castelletto's story is one of dual heritage and deliberate choice. Born in the Parisian suburb of Montreuil to a French mother and a Cameroonian father, he developed his game in the prestigious academies of France, first at Paris FC and then at Auxerre. His professional career took him across Europe, with spells in Belgium and France, where he honed his skills as a composed and adaptable centre-back. The defining decision came in 2017, when he accepted a call-up to the Cameroon national team, embracing the Indomitable Lions. His commitment was rewarded with a starting role in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, where his defensive solidity helped Cameroon secure a third-place finish. His club journey later led him to the Middle East, where he continues his career, always remaining a reliable option for his national side.

Jean-Charles was born in 1995, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
