A powerful and agile second-row forward, Su'A brings Samoan pride and hard-hitting defense to the NRL stage.
Born in Brisbane to Samoan heritage, Jaydn Su'A's path to the NRL was carved through sheer physicality and determination. He first made waves as a junior with the Brisbane Broncos, his robust playing style marking him as a future force. His senior debut came in 2016, and he quickly established himself not just as a formidable defender but as a player with surprising ball skills for a forward. A move to the South Sydney Rabbitohs saw him become a crucial part of a premiership-contending pack, his performances earning him a spot in the Samoan national team for the 2022 Rugby League World Cup. In 2024, he joined the St George Illawarra Dragons, where his experience and edge are seen as key to rebuilding the club's forward dominance.

Born into smartphones, social media, and school shootings. The most diverse generation in history. Pragmatic about money, fluid about identity, anxious about the climate. They do not remember a world before the internet.
Jaydn was born in 1997, placing them squarely in the Generation Z. The events that shaped this generation — social media, climate anxiety, and a pandemic — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
