An uncompromising prop forward whose aggressive, high-energy style on the field has made him a formidable presence in the NRL.
Jack Hetherington's rugby league path is one of relentless physicality and hard-earned opportunity. The son of former player Brett Hetherington, he came through the Penrith Panthers system but found his first sustained NRL footing with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. It was there that he carved out an identity as a fiery, tackle-breaking forward who played with a visible edge. That intensity sometimes led to disciplinary issues, but it also made him a valuable enforcer. A stint with the New Zealand Warriors followed before he landed at the Melbourne Storm, a club renowned for refining raw talent into disciplined force. Under the Storm's system, Hetherington has worked to channel his natural aggression into a more controlled, effective power game, aiming to become a consistent pillar in one of the league's most formidable forward packs.
