A commanding Spanish center-back known for his aerial prowess and leadership, who anchored defenses in La Liga and the Premier League.
Iván Ramis built a solid, 17-year career as a no-nonsense central defender, a player whose value was measured in clearances, organization, and resilience. A product of RCD Mallorca's youth system, he became a mainstay for his hometown club, making over 150 appearances and helping them punch above their weight in La Liga. His performances earned him a move to the English Premier League with Wigan Athletic in 2012, where he immediately became a key figure, though his time there was hampered by a serious knee injury. He later provided veteran stability for clubs like Levante and SD Eibar before retiring, respected as a defender's defender who understood the craft of stopping attacks.
