A durable and intelligent back-rower who carved out a long career across two hemispheres, later transitioning to coaching in emerging rugby league markets.
Glenn Morrison's professional rugby league journey was a testament to adaptability and football intelligence. A hard-working second-rower or lock, he wasn't defined by a single club but by a career that spanned the NRL and the English Super League. He debuted for Parramatta and became a consistent performer for clubs like North Sydney and the North Queensland Cowboys, known for his strong running and work rate. Seeking a new challenge, he moved to England, where his leadership qualities shone as captain of the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. Morrison's understanding of the game made a natural transition to coaching inevitable. After cutting his teeth in England's lower tiers with the Dewsbury Rams, he embraced a pioneering role, moving to the United States in 2021 to become head coach of the Cleveland Rugby League club, aiming to grow the sport in North America.

The latchkey kids. Raised during divorce, recession, and the end of the Cold War. Skeptical, self-reliant, media-literate. They invented indie culture, grunge, and the early internet — then watched the Boomers take credit.
Glenn was born in 1976, placing them squarely in the Generation X. The events that shaped this generation — economic uncertainty, the end of the Cold War, and the rise of personal computing — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
