After conquering childhood television with his twin, he traded the Hollywood script for the life of a Brooklyn mead-maker and entrepreneur.
Dylan Sprouse took the road less traveled after childhood stardom. He shared the spotlight with his brother Cole from infancy, most famously as the mischievous Zack Martin on Disney's 'The Suite Life' series. When the show ended, he too stepped back from acting, but his post-Disney path veered in a strikingly different direction. He attended New York University alongside his brother, but his focus was on video game design and, more unexpectedly, the ancient craft of mead-making. While studying, he began brewing mead in his apartment, a hobby that blossomed into a serious business venture. After graduation, he and a partner opened All-Wise Meadery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, making him one of the few former child stars to become a professional brewer. He has since returned to acting on his own terms, taking roles in independent films and Asian productions, but his identity is now firmly split between the entertainment world and his life as a hands-on business owner.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Dylan was born in 1992, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.

“I think a lot of child actors, they end up becoming these sort of caricatures of themselves. I didn't want to be that.”
