Biography

Born in France to Argentine parents, David Trezeguet's career was a study in lethal efficiency. He announced himself to the world at Monaco, forming a devastating partnership with Thierry Henry. His move to Juventus in 2000 defined his legacy; in Turin, he became a goal-poaching icon, his partnership with Alessandro Del Piero forming the spine of a dominant side. For France, no moment was bigger than Euro 2000. In the final against Italy, with the score tied in extra time, he met Robert Pirès's cross with a first-time, left-footed volley—a golden goal that secured the trophy. Though his international career ended with a missed penalty in the 2006 World Cup final, his reputation as one of Serie A's most consistent foreign scorers, adapting through calcio's various eras, remains untarnished.

Generation X

1965–1980

The latchkey kids. Raised during divorce, recession, and the end of the Cold War. Skeptical, self-reliant, media-literate. They invented indie culture, grunge, and the early internet — then watched the Boomers take credit.

David was born in 1977, placing them squarely in the Generation X. The events that shaped this generation — economic uncertainty, the end of the Cold War, and the rise of personal computing — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
