A formidable prop forward who carved out a solid professional career and proudly represented his Italian heritage on the international rugby league stage.
Daniel Alvaro built his rugby league career on a foundation of sheer physicality and relentless work ethic. Emerging from the Parramatta Eels system in the NRL, the Australian-born forward made his first-grade debut in 2015 and quickly established himself as a reliable and tough front-rower. His consistency in the engine room for the Eels earned him a move to the St George Illawarra Dragons, where he became a regular starter. Alvaro's powerful running and defensive grit were his trademarks. His career took a transcontinental turn with a move to the Super League, first with the Warrington Wolves and then Toulouse Olympique. While his club journey was notable, a point of particular pride was his international career. Eligible through his father's heritage, Alvaro chose to represent Italy, pulling on the Azzurri jersey in the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, where he brought NRL toughness to the burgeoning European side.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Daniel was born in 1993, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
