A skilful English winger whose career was defined by a dazzling Manchester United debut and a cult-hero status at Burnley.
Chris Eagles emerged from the famed Manchester United academy, a tricky winger with an eye for goal and a confident swagger. His moment in the spotlight came in 2003 when, as a teenager, he scored just 77 seconds into his first-team debut against Leeds United. Despite that dream start, breaking into Sir Alex Ferguson's dominant squad proved difficult, leading to loan spells and a permanent move to Burnley in 2008. It was at Turf Moor where he truly flourished, becoming a central figure in Owen Coyle's attractive, attacking side that achieved promotion to the Premier League. Eagles embodied the team's fearless spirit, scoring spectacular goals and providing relentless creativity. His subsequent journey took him to several other clubs, including Bolton and Blackpool, but he is best remembered for that explosive start and his vital role in Burnley's most memorable modern era.

Chris was born in 1985, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
