A versatile power forward whose relentless two-way play and clutch postseason performances made him a Stanley Cup champion and a Boston fan favorite.
Charlie Coyle’s hockey journey began in his hometown of Weymouth, Massachusetts, before he took a unique path through the USHL and Boston University. His size and skill made him a first-round draft pick in 2010, but it was a trade to his hometown Bruins in 2019 that truly defined his career. In Boston, Coyle transformed into an indispensable, versatile center, trusted in all situations. His combination of power, puck protection, and surprising finesse made him a matchup nightmare. The pinnacle came in 2024 when his consistent, two-way excellence was a cornerstone of the Bruins' Stanley Cup victory, cementing his status as a modern-era Bruins stalwart.
