A former Disney Channel star who traded Hollywood scripts for MIT lecture halls, emerging as a pioneering satellite data entrepreneur.
Bridgit Mendler's career arc is a defiant rejection of typecasting. First known to millions as the witty Teddy Duncan on Disney Channel's 'Good Luck Charlie,' she simultaneously cultivated a sincere music career, her folk-pop album 'Hello My Name Is...' showcasing a voice beyond her acting roles. Just as her entertainment career seemed firmly established, she stepped off the path entirely. Enrolling at MIT, she immersed herself in anthropology and technology, later pursuing a law degree at Harvard. This academic pivot was not a retreat but a recalibration. In 2024, she co-founded Northwood Space, a startup aiming to democratize access to satellite data by building ground stations. Mendler transformed from a child star into a clear-voiced CEO, using her platform not for promotion but to discuss spectral licensing and space infrastructure, proving that a second act can be written in the stars.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Bridgit was born in 1992, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
