A gentle giant of the NBA whose 7-foot-4 frame and surprising skill made him a beloved cult figure and a force of pure joy on the court.
Boban Marjanović won MVP honors in the Adriatic League with Crvena Zvezda Belgrade after being cut from his first professional team for being too slow. The Serbian center, born in Boljevac, refined his soft touch and footwork in leagues across Serbia, Lithuania, and Russia. Signed by the San Antonio Spurs in 2015, his per-minute production was historically efficient. Stops with Detroit, the LA Clippers, Philadelphia, Dallas, and Houston followed. His smile, playful interactions, and genuine love for the game made him one of the NBA's most cherished personalities.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Boban was born in 1988, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
