A model turned actress who brought a striking presence to sci-fi and horror films, moving from GUESS ads to commanding the screen in Tron: Legacy.
Beau Garrett modeled for GUESS ads in the late 1990s after an Elite agent discovered her at fourteen. She moved from fashion magazines to film with her visceral debut in the 2006 horror 'Turistas,' playing a tourist trapped in a Brazilian nightmare. She then portrayed Captain Raye in 'Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.' Her most defining role arrived in 2010 as Gem, a serene Siren in the digital world of 'Tron: Legacy,' a part that fused her modeling background with screen presence. Garrett has worked steadily in television and film since, but those early blockbuster roles showed she could translate modeling allure into compelling cinematic character work.
1981–1996
The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Beau was born in 1982, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
