A towering former NFL lineman who reinvented himself as one of WWE's most effective and despised corporate henchmen.
Baron Corbin's path to the wrestling ring was paved on the gridiron. Standing well over six feet tall, Thomas Pestock played offensive line for the Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts before the sport's physical toll ended his football career. He brought that same formidable size and athlete's agility to WWE's developmental system, debuting as the lone wolf Baron Corbin, a silent, brooding brawler who won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in his first WrestleMania appearance. He found his true niche, however, as an arrogant authority figure. Whether as 'Constable' Corbin, 'King' Corbin, or 'Happy' Corbin, he perfected the role of the smug, entitled villain who relished using bureaucratic power to torment fan favorites. His look—bald head, intense glare, and often a sneer—made him instantly hateable, a utility player WWE could slot into any main event scene as a credible foil. After a long WWE run, he transitioned to the independent circuit and MLW, proving his toughness and adaptability extend far beyond a scripted corporate role.

Baron was born in 1984, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
