The dynamic, emotionally raw voice at the center of Circa Survive, whose soaring vocals and candid lyrics defined a generation of post-hardcore.
Hailing from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Anthony Green emerged from the early 2000s post-hardcore scene as a whirlwind of energy and vulnerability. He first gained attention as the original vocalist for Saosin, recording the influential *Translating the Name* EP before an abrupt departure. This led him to form Circa Survive in 2004, a band whose textured, atmospheric rock became a perfect vessel for Green's acrobatic tenor and intensely personal songwriting. His career is a tapestry of parallel projects: the experimental supergroup The Sound of Animals Fighting, his intimate solo folk-rock albums, and later, the punk-inflected L.S. Dunes. Beyond the music, Green has been strikingly open about his struggles with bipolar disorder and addiction, weaving his journey toward mental health and sobriety into his art and connecting deeply with fans who see their own battles reflected in his work.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Anthony was born in 1982, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
