Biography

Prince Andrew served as a Royal Navy helicopter pilot during the Falklands War before taking on the role of UK trade envoy. He married Sarah Ferguson in 1986 and had two daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie. His friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein led to a disastrous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview intended to clarify their relationship. The interview instead damaged public perception. He was stripped of military affiliations and royal patronages. In 2022, he settled a civil sexual assault case brought by Virginia Giuffre. His life shifted from royal duty to a cautionary story about privilege and poor judgment.

Baby Boomers

1946–1964

The largest generation in history at the time. Shaped by postwar prosperity, the Vietnam War, the sexual revolution, and Watergate. They questioned every institution their parents built — then ran them.

Andrew was born in 1960, placing them squarely in the Baby Boomers. The events that shaped this generation — postwar prosperity, civil rights, Vietnam, and the counterculture — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
