A physical actor who transitioned from teen action roles to embodying the rugged heart of historical television dramas.
Alexander Ludwig grew up in Vancouver, landing commercials as a child before his physical stature and intensity catapulted him into larger roles. His early part as a troubled Viking in 'The Vikings' hinted at a niche he would later own, but it was his turn as the formidable tribute Cato in 'The Hunger Games' that introduced him to a global audience. Ludwig deftly avoided being pigeonholed by that blockbuster, instead building a career on television where his commitment to physical transformation and emotional depth found a home. He spent six seasons as the ferocious but complex Bjorn Ironside on the History Channel's 'Vikings', a role that demanded both martial prowess and royal gravitas. More recently, he stepped into the boots of a Green Beret in 'Lone Survivor' and led the cast of the Western series 'Heels', proving his range extends beyond the ancient world.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Alexander was born in 1992, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
